DURA is governed by an 11-member Board of Commissioners, appointed by the Mayor of Denver and confirmed by the Denver City Council for staggered five-year terms. The board employs an Executive Director, who currently directs 16 staff members in carrying out the various redevelopment projects and housing programs offered by DURA and serves as Secretary of the DURA Board of Commissioners.
