Anthony Albanese

FVP, Energy Facilities Group, CBRE, Inc.

“Knowing that the people we serve, the residents of the City and County of Denver, are positively affected by the decisions that we make is by far the most important aspect of my service as a commissioner. Whether the work is widening sidewalks, improving public lighting, cleaning up a brownfield site for redevelopment, or providing housing support during difficult and/or transitional times, DURA does a phenomenal job of identifying the real estate issues that our citizens face and tackles them head on. Despite the many challenges that are a byproduct of a rapidly growing community, DURA continues to improve the safety, livability, and overall enjoyment of the interactions with our surroundings in this great City. It’s pretty amazing to play a small part in the massive impact this wonderful organization has.”

Anthony Albanese is passionate about his family, community, and career. Since moving to Denver more than 10 years ago to pursue a career in commercial real estate at CBRE, Inc., Anthony has worked hard to engrain himself into the community.  His local involvement has included holding the roles of treasurer, vice president, charity review committee member, fundraiser, board member, and is currently the 2017-18 president-elect for Denver Active 20-30 Children’s Foundation. He has youth mentored through Colorado I Have a Dream Foundation, was the Chairman of Broker’s Benefiting Kids, and is currently holding a seat on the Board of Directors for DURA.

Professionally, Albanese has focused on Downtown Denver and national tenant representation for over 10 years. In 2011, he was recognized as 1 of 12 national emerging leaders in the CBRE Office Properties Specialty Group, which consisted of over 1,200 brokers. Additionally, in 2013 Albanese co-founded the CBRE Energy Facilities Group (EFG), a North American practice group that he continues to lead today. Albanese is a very active member of the Denver business community with participation in the Metro Denver Economic Development Corporation, Downtown Denver Partnership, Western Energy Alliance (Board of Advisors), Denver Petroleum Club, a multiple DBJ Who’s Who in Energy, and formerly serving a three term as a Board of Director for Denver Metro Commercial Association of REALTORS.

Personally, Albanese enjoys spending time with his wife, Christina, and two young daughters Charlie and Cora. He also likes to get out on his road bike, run, swim, and golf when he can fit it in. Albanese graduated with a BSS from Ohio University, in June of 2006.
