K.C. Veio

Attorney, Kline Alvarado Veio, P.C.

“Whether it’s our single-family home rehabilitation program, emergency home repair activities or redevelopment efforts using tax-increment financing, it’s an honor to be a part of DURA’s multi-faceted undertakings to make Denver the great city that it is.”

After 13 years of working at large law firms, including nearly 10 years at Brownstein Hyatt & Farber where he was Chair of the Public Finance Department, in June of 2004, Veio co-founded Kline Alvarado Veio, P.C. with long-time friends and colleagues, Brent Kline and Rob Alvarado.  Their firm specializes in representing commercial and public sector clients in various transactional contexts, including tax-exempt financings.

In addition to his professional work, Veio enjoys giving back to the community that has given him so much.  Governor Bill Owens twice appointed him to the Board of the Colorado Educational and Cultural Facilities Authority with Governor Bill Ritter reappointing Veio to that Board.  Denver Mayor John Hickenlooper appointed him to be a Commissioner of the Denver Public Library (where he eventually served two years as President of the Library Commission).  Veio also serves as Vice Chair of the Corporate Development Committee for the Denver Art Museum.
