Grant Management Supervisor

Kate McElhaney

Kate has served as DURA’s Grant Management Supervisor since 2019. Before joining DURA, Kate worked to eliminate housing discrimination and create diverse and inclusive communities in the metro Denver area at Denver Metro Fair Housing. She has an extensive background in funded grant projects with the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD), as well as programs to help people with disabilities access modifications and accommodations to their homes. Kate graduated from Colorado State University with a degree in social work and sociology, and obtained a graduate certificate in human resource management from CSU Global. She served in the U.S. Peace Corps in the Philippines and speaks Tagalog. In her spare time, Kate enjoys rock climbing.
