As deputy director and chief financial officer, Robin manages all of DURA’s financial functions and activities, including financial planning and strategy, as well as oversees the organization’s housing redevelopment programs. Having spent her entire career in finance, both in the nonprofit and quasi-governmental sectors, Robin brings a valuable and unique perspective to DURA’s leadership team. Robin joined DURA after returning to Denver from New York, where she served as vice president of financial planning and analysis for the New York City Economic Development Corporation. Prior to that, Hickey was the executive director for the New England Society, a New York City-based nonprofit scholarship program. Before moving east to pursue a career in New York, Hickey was the executive director for the Denver chapter of the American Institute of Architects. Robin graduated magna cum laude from Rutgers University and earned a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the City University of New York – Baruch College.
