Taryn has worked for DURA since 2006 and is responsible for overseeing DURA’s various affordable housing programs. Prior to her time at DURA she worked for Aurora Housing Authority, where she was responsible for managing the Authority’s Moderate Rehabilitation Housing Program. Taryn is active on numerous boards and councils including Neighborhood Development Corporation (NDC), Mile High Connects Advisory Council, Center for Work, Education and Employment (CWEE), Housing Colorado Legislative Committee and the United Way Governance Council. She also is a former commissioner on the Mayor’s Denver African American Commission. Taryn has a Juris Doctorate from the University of Denver, Sturm College of Law and a Bachelors of Business Administration from the University of Denver. Taryn spends her free time with her two sons, is an avid reader and enjoys attending sporting events.
