“I appreciate the thought that goes into funding projects and the collaboration across stakeholders to meet needs as they arise across the city. I’m excited to be a part of the DURA board and the continued work to support Denver’s emerging needs.”

With an impressive background in education and experience as a nonprofit leader in Denver, Kimberlee is an executive coach and strategic consultant. She supports clients in the metro Denver area with organizational strategic planning, fundraising strategic planning, and leadership coaching in schools, school districts, and nonprofit organizations. Kimberlee is also the District 1 Director on the Denver Public Schools Board of Education and serves as the Board Treasurer.

Before venturing out on her own, Kimberlee served as the president and CEO of Colorado Dream Foundation, a nonprofit providing support for families in the areas of academics, emotional wellness, college and career development, and systems advocacy. She transitioned into the nonprofit space after her time as the CEO at KIPP Colorado Schools, a local charter school network that is part of Denver Public Schools. She also worked as a teacher in New Jersey and California and then became a K-8 school principal with Lighthouse Academies before holding multiple leadership roles with the organization.
