“I enjoy knowing that we are helping people so they can live comfortably in their own home, and that
DURA’s main goal is to help people in our community that need it the most.”
Keyla joined DURA in September 2020 as a bilingual intake specialist and is now our loan specialist. Keyla was responsible for translating communications in English and Spanish between clients and DURA staff and helped potential clients apply for DURA’s housing rehabilitation programs. While this is Keyla’s first job in the housing rehabilitation industry, it’s in her nature to help people in and outside of the office. Prior to joining DURA, Keyla worked her way up from reception to admissions at HOPE Online, a Douglas County Schools K-12 online charter school. Keyla was an honor roll student in high school and received a scholarship from the General Consulate of Mexico. She attended college in Sacramento, CA. In her spare time, Keyla enjoys exploring Colorado, trying new foods with her husband and watching TV shows from the 1980s–early 2000s.
