Redevelopment Compliance Manager

Michelle Howard

Michelle Howard, as DURA’s Redevelopment Compliance Manager, works with DURA’s Redevelopment Team and redevelopers to ensure projects abide by the legal standards required of DURA redevelopment efforts.

Before joining DURA, Michelle worked as Environmental Protection Specialist for the State of Colorado, Division of Oil and Public Safety with the Petroleum Cleanup and Redevelopment Fund. In the summer of 2023, she became a program administrator at Adaapta, where she also acted as the KSU TAB state point of contact for Montana, Wyoming, North Dakota, South Dakota, and Utah. Additionally, Michelle has a background in education, having taught science and technology to sixth graders.

Michelle holds a Bachelor of Science in Education from Minnesota State University Moorhead and studied Business Administration and Management at North Dakota State University. Outside of her professional life, Michelle is always on the lookout for her next adventure — whether hiking, biking, climbing, tennis, or skiing.
