Mike Ragland is an experienced financial leader with a background spanning local and state government, higher education, healthcare, and multi-entity organizations. A Colorado native, he joined the Denver Urban Renewal Authority with a strong interest in public-purpose finance and the role sound financial management plays in advancing meaningful community outcomes.
Throughout his career, Mike has led budget development, financial reporting, debt administration, audit oversight, and capital project accounting for large organizations. At DURA, his expertise in fiscal stewardship, internal controls and long-term planning supports the financial systems and oversight that enable redevelopment and community investment efforts across Denver.
Mike holds a bachelor’s degree in business with an emphasis in accounting and a Master of Business Administration. Outside of work, he enjoys traveling with his wife, watching sports and spending time with family.
