DURA offers grants, 0% and low-interest loans to low- and moderate-income homeowners for home repairs and accessibility upgrades.
DURA’s Housing Rehabilitation programs match low-income and moderate-income residents with grants and no-interest loans for emergency repairs like hot water heater replacement, or for more thorough rehabilitation of a single family home, like installing a new roof and replacing sewer lines – repairs that ensure that the home is safe and comfortable.
The programs deliver high-quality improvements and also offer assistance in working with reliable contractors. DURA also makes grants to renters and homeowners with disabilities for access modifications. As part of DURA’s commitment to the homeowner, DURA oversees the work being performed by the contractor to make sure repairs are completed quickly, at a competitive price, with the highest quality work, and in the best interest of the homeowner.

The funding source for this activity is the City and County of Denver, Department of Housing Stability.
Homeowners can make home improvements including essential repairs and necessary upgrades to their home using zero- to one percent (0-1%) interest loans of up to $50,000. This program is designed for major home rehabilitation such as roofing, plumbing, siding, gutters, window repair or replacement, and some kitchen and bathroom repairs like tile and cabinetry.

This program offers zero percent (0%) interest, deferred loans of up to $10,000 to address emergency or immediate repair needs for homeowners. This could include, but is not limited to, fixing plumbing, heating, roofing or electrical problems. Deferred loans are only due upon sale or refinance of the house or when the owner ceases to occupy the home.
