Homeownership in Colorado

Currently, homeownership in Colorado is at 64.9 percent, with the average first-time homebuyer being about 33, at the front end of the Millennial generation.

Responsible homeownership is the key to building wealth and a strong middle class. Additionally, those who own move far less frequently than renters, making it easier to build community networks and support systems.

DURA is here to support Denver community members, and their efforts to stay in their homes. We do this by offering grants, 0% and low-interest loans to homeowners for essential home repairs and accessibility upgrades.
