Operations update
Posted August 11, 2021

Starting September 7th, 2021, the front office will be open Monday thru Friday from 8:00am until 5:00pm as we continue to monitor the state issued mandates and have implemented the hybrid work-at-home protocol at DURA. We enforce CDC’s recommendation for masks or face coverings, social distancing, etc. while in the facility for all who are NOT vaccinated. Appointments must be scheduled in advance and we ask that if you are ill and experiencing any COVID-19 like symptoms, recently tested positive for COVID-19, or have been exposed to anyone recently that has that you please stay home.

DURA staff are available by phone or appointment, as needed. We apologize for the inconvenience, and please know that we are doing what we can to reduce health risks to our clients as well as our staff.

Please contact our office with any further questions or concerns you may have. 303-534-3872

DURA is restarting work on its housing programs in June, in compliance with all state and local public health orders. If you’ve previously been approved for a DURA housing program, a member of our staff will reach out to you soon with an estimated time to begin or resume work on your home. DURA is still accepting program applications, and we encourage people to apply. Housing program staff continue to be available by phone or email. Due to the COVID-19 outbreak, we will be closing the DURA office effective 3/17/20 until further notice. DURA employees will be working remotely and will continue to serve clients, partners and the City of Denver to the extent possible given the circumstances. For an update on the status of DURA’s housing programs, please see below. Please call 303-534-3872 or email [email protected] for assistance.

Dear Clients,

The Denver Urban Renewal Authority (DURA) has been following the coronavirus/COVID-19
pandemic very closely. For the safety of you, our valued clients, and the safety of our employees, we
have made the difficult decision to suspend DURA’s Housing Program activities, effective
immediately, until further notice.

We want to assure you that, while this will result in a delay in the delivery of your housing services, it
will in no way jeopardize your participation in our programs. Our aim is to resume providing excellent
client services and program delivery as soon as it is safe and prudent to do so. One of our staff will be
in contact with you as soon as possible once we’re able to restart our services.

Our staff will be continuing to work remotely and is available to answer any questions that you may
have. Please contact your housing loan specialist or housing rehab specialist by calling 303.534.3872.

Thank you for your participation in DURA’s Housing Programs. Our best wishes to you and your
family for your continued health and safety during this difficult time.

Sincerely,

Robin Hickey
Deputy Director/CFO
