Staff feature: Audrey Ellington

“I feel really lucky working for DURA. When I talk to our potential borrowers, I feel like I make a difference every day.”

Meet Audrey, our loan specialist for the housing rehabilitation program. Audrey began her career working as a loan officer in the mortgage industry where she enjoyed serving moderate- to low-income families and seniors, which made the transition to serving members of her community at DURA a smooth one. She was eager to make a greater impact on these communities. She discovered DURA after transitioning to work in loan originations and was excited to join an organization where she can give back to the citizens of Denver, and the communities that she feels directly connected to.
