The best places to see holiday lights in Denver

Looking for a way to get into the holiday spirit this season? Grab your warmest hat, a cup of hot chocolate, and visit one of these Mile High City light displays this season!

    • The Zoo Lights
      • See the Denver Zoo in a whole new way by visiting during their annual “Zoo Lights” event. Tickets range from $15 – $25 and the lights will be up until January 7, 2024. Plus, on December 31, they are offering a “Low-Sensory Night” so everyone can enjoy the lights!
    • “Blossoms of Light” at the Denver Botanic Gardens
      • Talk about a winter wonderland. The Denver Botanic Gardens has its annual holiday light show up from now until January 7, 2024 (closed December 25). Tickets range from $18 – $21 for non-members and are free for children 2 and under. Bundle up and see the Gardens like never before!
    • 16th Street’s Mile High Tree
      • Located on 16th Street Mall at Welton Street, the 110-foot Mile High Tree is back after making its debut last winter. The tree’s light displays are synced up to festive music, and the show starts every 15 minutes. Create a new family tradition, and stroll by between now and New Years Day for the show!
    • Trail of Lights at Chatfield Farms
      • With just under a mile of walking trails, the Trail of Lights at Chatfield Farms is a wonderful holiday outing for any group. Running Friday to Sunday, now until December 10, and then nightly December 15 to January 1, 2024 (closed on Christmas), this light display is one-of-a-kind. Tickets range from $10 – $15 and hot chocolate can be purchased on-site!
