What is DURA doing to support Black, Indigenous and people of color (BIPOC)?

DURA actively seeks to achieve Minority Business Enterprise/Women Business Enterprise/Small Business Enterprise (MBE/WBE/SBE) participation from contractors to bid on housing rehabilitation programs to help preserve these enterprises. And in the midst of the pandemic, DURA provided funding for COVID-19 business counseling programs that benefitted Mi Casa Resource Center, Hispanic Contractors of Colorado and the Black Business Initiative. The funding for these programs addressed access to federal funding, leveraging technology, skills development and networking, social equity efforts and certifications.
