Ryan is the owner and operator of Coffee at The Point, a coffee & wine lounge in the Five Points neighborhood — and serves as the program director for the Energize Colorado Gap Fund.
He has a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Information Systems and a master’s degree in Business Administration. Ryan has 20+ years of experience working as a personnel benefits manager, business operations manager, human resources manager, and IT manager focusing on internal and external customer relationships and bottom-line profitability.
Ryan is the Chair of the Five Points Business Improvement Board of Directors and Chair of the Board of Directors for the Colorado Children’s Campaign. In 2022, he was appointed by Mayor Michael B. Hancock to serve on the Denver Urban Renewal Authority (DURA) board. Ryan was also appointed by the Governor of Colorado to sit on the 2nd Judicial District Judicial Nominating Commission.
His knowledge, leadership and strategic ability also allowed him to coach boys basketball at some of the top 5A high schools in Colorado over the last 20 years; providing a unique opportunity for players to achieve high athletic honors, high academic standards, and service leadership characteristics through volunteer and service trips.
