Stacie is a public engagement consultant with her firm, Agora Civic Engagement, LLC. She specializes in strategic outreach and communications, stakeholder engagement, community group organizing and task force coordination. Agora Civic Engagement provides strategic communications consulting that makes a difference in our communities’ civic spaces.
Prior to her work in public engagement, Stacie served as executive director for Denver Excise and Licenses and was appointed by Mayor Michael Hancock to be a member of his cabinet by leading the business regulatory agency for the City and County of Denver. She worked with community groups, neighborhood associations and business industry groups to enhance the City’s regulatory practices on issues ranging from taxis and food trucks to creating new liquor licenses that reflect changing desires for community amenities. Other experience includes working as a legislative advisor on behalf of the mayor’s office and liaising with agencies including Community Planning and Development, Public Works and Parks & Recreation.
In her free time, Stacie enjoys gardening, protecting pollinators through keeping beehives and bee hotels, and exploring urban areas with her two kids. She also coaches local youth soccer.
