As Housing Manager for DURA, Brett oversees our housing program staff and DURA housing rehabilitation projects citywide. Before joining DURA, Brett put his professional skills to work at Habitat for Humanity — and before that, ran his own lending company facilitating home loans for educators and first responders during the pandemic.
Brett is passionate about affordable housing and bringing equitable access and capital to underrepresented communities. He brings more than 20 years of lending operations experience at financial institutions large and small.
Since 2004, Brett has been both a volunteer and financial supporter of Habitat for Humanity of Metro Denver. He graduated Summa cum laude in Business Administration from Drake University and has his Colorado mortgage originator license. Brett lives in the Denver suburbs with his wife Madonna and two daughters, Feryn and Alicia.
